Background

Meert, an iconic house founded in Lille in 1761, is renowned for its refined gastronomic creations, including its famous filled waffles, exceptional teas and handcrafted chocolates. Keen to share its rich history and commitment to quality products and ingredients, Meert was looking to enrich its product sheets with narratives.

The project

To achieve this goal, we put audio features online on their website Meert called on its culinary experts, such as chocolate chefs Rebecca and Anaïs, and their pastry chef. These artisans were invited to record a series of audios dedicated to their specialties:

  • The chocolate chefs share their passion for creating fine chocolates, explaining the meticulous choice of ingredients and the artisanal techniques used at Meert.
  • The pastry chef reveals the secrets behind the making of Meert's famous waffles, revealing the traditional steps and tricks for preserving their authentic taste.
  • Each audio is carefully designed to highlight Meert's century-old know-how, as well as the history and tradition that permeate each product.

The results

  • Production and recording of some fifty audio files to enhance product descriptions and offer customers an immersive experience.
  • The audios give customers a deeper insight into the craftsmanship and quality of Meert products, reinforcing their commitment to the brand.
