Case Study: Galeries Lafayette Reinvent Their SMS Campaigns with Audio

To achieve this goal, Galeries Lafayette has launched, in partnership with EKOO, an SMS campaign enhanced with audio content.
At the heart of this campaign: audio clips recorded by store managers.
The goal was to create a more human and local tone of voice by speaking directly to customers with a recognizable and relatable voice.
Rolled out in 23 stores across France, the campaign allowed customers to receive a text message containing a link to an audio clip in which store staff presented the private-label product offering.
This format has made it possible to transform a traditional promotional message into a more engaging experience, fostering a sense of connection, credibility, and personalization.
Through this initiative, Galeries Lafayette is exploring a new way to engage its customer base by combining the power of text messaging with the emotional impact of voice.
