Background

Damart is a brand renowned for its expertise in the creation of technical garments, in particular its Thermolactyl range, famous for its exceptional thermal regulation properties. These garments, designed to provide warmth without causing perspiration and adapted to varying levels of cold, combine textile innovation, style and functionality. In addition, Damart collaborates with Virginie Fauconnier for live shopping sessions, where she offers style advice for customers. Recently, Damart sought to clarify the benefits of these unique products for better understanding by its customers. This initiative aims to improve communication on the specificities of Thermolactyl textiles. But Damart had another challenge, to enhance and strengthen the partnership with Virginie Fauconnier, to enrich their shopping experience with her expert recommendations.

 

 

The project

To clarify the advantages and specificities of their thermolactyls products, we have integrated explanatory audio devices on their website on the product page:

  • Descriptive capsules in which advisors and product managers explain how thermolactyls technologies work and advise on when and how to use them depending on weather conditions. The different product ranges are detailed, to guide customers in their choice according to their specific needs.
  • The aim of the audio capsules is to make a Damart advisor available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, enabling customers to access his or her recommendations at any time. In this way, the aim is to offer an experience comparable to that of an in-store purchase.
  • Virginie Fauconnier has recorded audio clips of 10 items in the new Damart collection. She describes and talks about the strengths of each item, offering invaluable style advice.

The results

  • 46 audio tracks produced for their thermolactyl and climatyl products by 7 contributors are available on their website.
  • 10 audios by Virginie Fauconnier recorded and put online in two days 
  • Better understanding of products by customers thanks to audio descriptions, increasing satisfaction and confidence.
  • 89% of users listen to audio capsules in their entirety
