What is Réseau Entreprendre?
Réseau Entreprendre is a French association founded in 1986 by André Mulliez, an industrialist from northern France. To meet the challenges of unemployment, he came up with an idea: the Réseau Entreprendre association. Its aim is to provide peer-to-peer entrepreneurial support to help create jobs in every region of France.
Today, Réseau Entreprendre is a gigantic community with 126 contact points in 10 countriesbringing together 15,000 entrepreneurs. Since its creation, Réseau Entreprendre has created 150,000 jobs. The association favors entrepreneurs with the potential to create jobs. As a result, the association promotes and supports start-ups, SMEs and ETIs.
What does it mean to be a Réseau Entreprendre Laureate?
Not every company can become a Réseau Entreprendre Laureate. Certain conditions must be met:
- A potential job creator
- Be a project that has validated its business model
A contractor must apply to the organization. The application then follows a long path to validation. It passes through various examiners, all the way to the selection committee. There, the candidate explains his or her project to members of the association. After all this, if the entrepreneur's application is accepted, he or she officially becomes a Réseau Entreprendre Laureate.
The winner is assigned a volunteer companion. For 2 years, the pair must meet at least 2 hours a week. After 2 years of support, the winner becomes a "junior member" and then a mentor. In turn, he or she accompanies and helps young entrepreneurs on their journey, and so on.
