Parfums Caron stands out in the world of haute parfumerie for its boldness and strong identity. However, translating the olfactory experiences and emotions of the fragrances onto their site presented challenges, particularly in conveying the essence of the perfumes without physical interaction. Caron, seeking to offer an authentic online shopping experience, decided to turn to audio.

The project

To enrich their customer experience, we integrated audio features called "audio capsules" into their website.

  • These vignettes are hosted by Jean Jacques, the house perfumer, who shares his inspirations and the stories behind each creation. He explains his inspirations, where the ingredients come from, the unique manufacturing methods, and the philosophy behind each fragrance.
  • These audios offer an immersion in Caron's olfactory universe, allowing customers to understand and feel the fragrances even before experiencing them physically.

The results

  • Creation and posting of audio capsules by Jean Jacques
  • These olfactory narratives allowed customers to delve into the history and subtleties of each fragrance, enriching their experience and understanding, which is reflected in conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
